AEROPERÚ
(Perú)

Aeroperú, the airline which was Perú’s flag carrier for a long time was a DC-10 - operator for several weeks. The carrier, which was associated with the Mexican flag carrier, leased DC-10-15s and -30s in different occasions between 1993 and 1996, also from Aeroméxico’s competitor Mexicana. It is supposed that the aircraft were used on the US-network, but not known as Aeroperú ceased all operations in 1999 after several attempts to save the carrier failed. At this time, the fleet consisted of 727-100s, 737-200s and a pair of 757-200s.
